So today we went to the doctor for Lawson's 6 month check up! We switched pediatrician's and saw a new one. He was one that visited us in the hospital and am really glad we switched. Not there was anything bad about the first one but we just didn't mesh well. I mean, I am a new mom so I have LOTS of questions and want to feel like I can ask them. Anyways....really glad with my decision!
He weighs 15.12 lbs and is 26.5 in long. He is in the 25% of weight and 50-75% of height. He was 13.3 lbs so he is growing there and he was 24.5 in long last time. Hopefully he will get his daddy's height! He still does not have any teeth despite the drooling. The doctor said he was growing just fine and was very healthy!
He got 4 shots and was such a brave boy! He cried for about 30 seconds and that was it! Next time the nurse said we only get two so that is better!
He is still a good sleeper...so I can not complain that every now and then he wakes up. At least I am not having to feed him in the middle of the night.
Right now Lawson's loves:
-to pull himself up to a standing position
-to be read to and cuddled
-for his daddy to play with him and make funny noise (he laughs so hard)
-other kids (i think it is something with little people)
-he is obsessed with our dog...which shocks me because of the dog...those of you know my dog she is not the sweetest thing but she loves to lick him and stare at him
-he thinks it is funny to spit "rasberries"
-his musical seahorse
-to sit up some on his own...still a little wobly but we're getting there
-his grandparents
-any object that will fit in his mouth
-his jumperoo
-to be tickled
Lawson's dislikes:
-unfortunately is starting to not like a morning nap
-when he can't fit an object in his mouth he gets very angry!
Luckily he does not have many dislikes. He is such a joy in our lives and every day we thank God for him! Even if it were a ton of dislikes it would all be worth it!
